The Chinese Association for Science and Technology - Pittsburgh Chapter (CAST-P) is a non-political, non-profit organization chartered in the greater Pittsburgh area. Its missions are to promote China's economic reform while bringing prosperity to both China and the US by facilitating channels for technological, commercial, and cultural exchange between the two countries, to promote opportunities and environments for Chinese professionals to network and exchange information, and to promote greater understanding of Chinese traditional culture in the United States.

CAST-P has over eight hundred members. Most of them are Chinese professionals working in science and technology fields in the greater Pittsburgh area. In addition to providing member benefits, sponsoring various sports activities and organizing annual picnic, CAST-P also holds monthly meeting and educational seminars on various subjects including new technology, tax and insurance, law and finance.

中国旅美科技协会-匹兹堡分会创 立于一九九五年，经过十多年的发展壮大，至今拥有八百多名会员，一直以来是中国旅美科技协会最大，最有影响的分会。 匹兹堡分会是一个非盈利，非政治性的高学历旅美华人，华裔组织；它是大匹兹堡地区最有影响力的华人社团。它的成员主要来自于生活在美国宾州西南地区，并在各行各业取得卓越成就的华人科学家，工程师，医 学专家，商界人士，以及艺术家。 从成立的第一天起，它就以推动中美科技文化 领域的广泛交流，促进两国商业的友好往来，帮助旅美华人专业人士改善工作和生存环境，和弘扬中华文化作为自身的工作宗旨。为了加强会员之间的联络，我们几乎每个月都会组织一次文化或体育活动，包括一年一度的大型春节晚会，中秋晚会；经过匹兹堡分会积极参与创立和组织的一年一度的龙舟节，已经成为当地具有中国文化特色的国际性庆祝活动。我们也积极参与和组织当地的国际文化交流活动，并成为匹兹堡中文学校的主要支持者；我们还举办各类讲座，邀请有关专家，宣传科技领域的最新进展，以及为会员们介绍金融，税务，法律等方面的知识。
